Users can now listen to millions of classical music recordings on the iPad, as Apple has just made the Apple Music Classical app available for use on its tablet devices.

Now, users can download Apple Music Classical, which is included with their Apple Music subscription, directly from the App Store.

"Introducing Apple Music Classical designed specifically for iPad, plus stability and performance improvements," wrote Apple in the description of the Apple Music Classical application in the App Store.

Apple first launched its long-awaited classical music app on iPhone last March, offering a library full of recordings that can be searched by composer, work, conductor, and more.

This application is the result of Apple's 2021 acquisition of the classical music streaming service Primephonic and allows users to listen to recordings with Lossless audio up to 192 kHz / 24-bit.

“Enjoy the highest audio quality available up to 192 kHz/24-bit Hi-Res Lossless in an app designed specifically for classical music, and hear your favorite classical music like never before in spatial audio,” the statement claims.

Apple Music Classical for iPad comes with several optimizations for a larger display, including a full navigation sidebar that lets users quickly jump to albums and songs in the library, access playlists, and use the app's search feature.

The Verge page reported, Thursday (16/11) local time, the giant technology company led by Tim Cook also launched its classical music application on Android in May, but it looks like users will have to wait longer to see whether Apple will make an application for Mac .
