Google Play Academy, Google's e-learning platform for application and game developers, presents a unique class called "Study Jams" for local game developers so they can learn how to build the right application and game business.
This class can be said to be unique because it consists of 20 interactive classes that can be taken to increase the capacity and potential of local game developers.
"This year, we are targeting more than 2,500 developers from all over Indonesia to take part in Study Jams," said Google Indonesia Managing Director Randy Jusuf in a press release, Friday.
“Study Jams” comes in an interactive, community-run study group format to share thoughts and help developers achieve success on Google Play.
Students will have access to classes guided directly by instructors while learning with their peers.
This course covers the following topics to help app developers improve the discoverability of their apps in the Play Store.
Starting from telling brand stories with developed application or game stores, understanding policies on the Google Play platform, learning practices to drive user acquisition and increasing installations, to understanding product marketing to the global market.
This program is available free of charge, so various game developers who are interested can participate by registering on the website g.co/playacademy/studyjams.
Later learning will start in August 2023 and end in December 2023.
Learning will run online and independently and takes four to six hours of learning.
"We hope that this new course offering will help more Indonesian developers in building and launching their applications and games to a wider audience in Indonesia and abroad," said Randy.
Participants who commit to taking this class will automatically become members of the Google Play Store Listing Certificates Alumni Network and receive an internationally recognized Google Play Store Listing Certificate.
This free certification is designed to prove the skills of mobile marketers and their ability to effectively promote mobile apps and games on Google Play, and be recognized in the app and gaming industry.
The "Study Jams" training is also supported by other partners such as the Indonesian Game Association (AGI), KUMPUL, Google Developer Groups and Indie Games Groups Indonesia.
