Technology company ASUS introduced a series of new router products featuring the AiMesh feature as the main technology of various ASUS extendable routers.
"ASUS is here with a feature-rich router to provide a solution for users who want to get maximum and stable internet connection," said ASUS Router Indonesia Country Product Manager Septianda Angelica in a press statement, Thursday.
This ASUS router series consists of various units aimed at various user needs, such as gaming routers (GT6 Rapture, AX11000 Pro), Wifi6 routers (RT-AX57, AX1800HP), to mesh routers for home living (ZenWifi XT8, ZenWifi XD4S).
One of the superior features of ASUS routers is AiMesh, which is technology that can connect several compatible ASUS routers to create a mesh WiFi network throughout the house and can add new routers at any time to increase coverage.
All devices on the AiMesh network will get access to all the features on the main router, including gaming features, AiProtection commercial-grade security, and more.
Different from ordinary routers or WiFi extenders, the ASUS router network with the AiMesh feature will form an extendable router network. This network can provide one smooth WiFi network for all rooms in the house, so users don't need to change networks every time they move.
The routers in the network will work together to determine which router provides the best signal for each connected device. Additionally, these routers will transfer connections between each other seamlessly without having to do anything.
"Features such as AiMesh, AiProtection, gaming features and other features can be accessed very easily via the ASUS Router application," said Septianda.
The ASUS Router application provides tools to monitor the user's network topology, so that this network can be optimized according to needs. For example, finding the best location to place a node as well as managing all connected devices through this application.
